Beautiful Barossa evening with a beautiful family. This maternity shoot was just lovely in the Barossa. Everything was so lush! And Stacey looked so beautiful as they prepare to go from a family of 3 to a family of 4. Looking forward to meeting this little one!
The beach, sunsetting on a balmy evening and a beautiful pregnant mumma to be. I walked away from this shoot feeling all loved up. It was just everything you would want from a shoot and too many images to condense down. As you prepare for the journey into motherhood, it's so lovely to take the time to focus on what lies ahead and celebrate the life you have with your partner until 2 becomes 3. Looking back on these images will be special for so many more reasons in the years to come as it symbolises a change in the world as you know it. A new world is beginning for this beautiful couple- it is just simply wonderful!
This little guy who was just a little newbie when I met him (I think he was just shy of 2 weeks old), was so alert and so amazing for his shoot. We captured some beautiful memories from this day for his family to treasure. They change so quickly in such short frames of time, its just wonderful to be able to freeze these little moments to look back on something you created that was so small and to look at how far you have come. Being a parent is the most wonderful thing in the world and capturing those moments are just so special.
Little boys always hold a place in their mothers hearts!
Here sleeps a girl with a head full of magical dreams, a heart full of wonder and hands that will shape the world.
This little girl was truly lucky to pick such loving parents! The moment I walked into this beautiful home I knew that this shoot was going to be just magical. Such dreamy curtains throughout this house set the scene for some gorgeous photos! And she was a little superstar! Halfway through our shoot she fell asleep and drifted off into the yummy world of baby dreams. Congratulations on such a beautiful little girl to bring into this world!
Sibling love and that special bond that you have with your brother is just oozing from these photos! These are my nephews and my god do they just love each other. Not all the time, especially when one has something the other wants, but when it really matters, when its just you and your brother, these boys really have it.
"The greatest gift our parents ever gave us was each other." Being a parent is not always the easiest job, especially when you have more than one (or so I can imagine). But I know my sister always says that when she sees the bond that the boys have with each other, being so close in age, makes it all worth everything.
Just me and my bro- I can't promise to solve all your problems, but I can promise that you will never have to face them alone.
Beth, you are doing an amazing job at being a mum to these boys! These photos truly show that.
Baby Girl Clova- you are certainly the apple of your mummy and daddy's eye! You are like a little doll. Just shy of 2 weeks old here (I think) and so alert with your mummies eyes, yet so sleepy too. She was a little angel as we posed her and put her in her bed of flowers and outfit changes! Her amazing new mummy was so great with her, helping her sleep and feel so comfortable as we endeavoured to get some creative little photos to remember her first weeks of life in this world. I love seeing new mummies with their little bundles- so delicate and loving with every touch- its just so beautiful! And the way a daddy holds his daughter is just so special! I loved seeing Jon and how smitten he is with her- such a doting daddy!
I have loved capturing this family grow- from their wedding day, maternity shoot and now their newborn photos. I feel lucky to call these guys friends and it's even more special to document their life through images! So, so special! Congratulations on being such wonderful new parents Zana and Jon! Little miss is perfect!
This shoot was extra special for so many reasons! I love going on a maternity shoot- there is just something so wonderful about this unknown little human inside these beautiful bellies. I have captured so many lovely moment for Zana and Jon from their wedding day and now their pregnancy. And what made this shoot even more special, was the fact that her sister is pregnant along side her. Both of these strong, beautiful woman are already incredible mothers and this shoot clearly shows their fun loving nature that their children will be so very lucky to be part of.
And when you get the right weather, you really feel like you've hit the jackpot! The sunshine on this stunning spring day - the Barossa Valley really turned it on yet again! A field full of yellow canola AND blossoms still adorning the trees, how could this shoot not be anything but spectacular! I came away from this shoot feeling all loved up and hope the emotion in these images transports you that place- cause looking at these images, everything seems right in the world!
Spring has definitely sprung and I've had the absolute pleasure of documenting this time with some lovely families! There is just so much beauty in the world at the moment and by just looking at these images, I feel like I can smell these beautiful blossoms! Thank you to the families that allowed me to be part of their world for a short time, to document a special time that will last a long time. Here is a small snapshot of some of the shots from the last week. There are many more gorgeous moments, but here is just a few that I wanted to share. xx
No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you're the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside- Andrea/ Barossa Valley
And then there were four....
Those winter days are really turning on the magic! This was an afternoon spent with such a beautiful family on a classic Barossa Winter Day! Even the rain couldn't wipe the smiles from this lovely families face in anticipation of the new addition to their family of three. Andrea was amazing- you would not want to know what the temperature was! She was truly glowing!
Thank you and love to the Clark family for welcoming me into their journey!
